Terms of Service

Last updated: 7 August 2026

1. Agreement

These terms govern your use of the TaskForge IT platform ("the Software"), provided by Taskforge IT Solutions (Pty) Ltd ("TaskForge"). By activating a license or using the Software, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and your organization.

2. License

TaskForge grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software for your own internal business purposes, limited to the tier, seat count, and features associated with your license key. Sharing a single license across more devices than your tier allows, or using it beyond the seat/module limits of your plan, is not permitted.

3. Your data and content

You retain ownership of all data you enter into the Software — job cards, client records, staff directories, and similar. Because most of this data lives on your own infrastructure rather than TaskForge's servers, you are responsible for backing it up and for complying with any laws that apply to the personal information you choose to store in it.

4. Payment and billing

Subscription fees are billed according to the plan and billing cycle (monthly or annual) you select at signup. Failure to pay may result in suspension of your license, including the automatic account-suspension protections built into the Software itself.

5. Service availability

TaskForge aims for high availability of its licensing and support infrastructure but does not guarantee uninterrupted service. Because the Software is designed to keep working with locally-stored data even when disconnected, a temporary outage of TaskForge's own servers should not prevent day-to-day use of core features already activated on your devices.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

7. Limitation of liability

The Software is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, TaskForge is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Software, including data loss on infrastructure you control.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate a subscription according to the billing terms of your plan. Upon termination, your license to use the Software ends, though data already stored on your own local infrastructure remains yours and is not remotely deleted by TaskForge.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Software after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
