POPIA Compliance Notice

Last updated: 7 August 2026

1. Responsible party

Taskforge IT Solutions (Pty) Ltd is the responsible party for personal information processed through its own systems (license administration, the customer portal, and support correspondence), as described in our Privacy Policy. Where you use the TaskForge platform to store information about your own clients and staff, you are the responsible party for that data — TaskForge acts only as the software you use to manage it, in most cases without routine access to it.

2. Information Officer

Under POPIA, every responsible party must designate an Information Officer. Ours is:

Taskforge IT Solutions (Pty) Ltd
Email: support@taskforge-it.co.za

3. How we process personal information

We process personal information in line with POPIA's conditions for lawful processing — collecting only what's needed for a specific, clearly-stated purpose (activating and supporting your license), keeping it accurate and secure, and not using it for unrelated purposes without your knowledge. See our Privacy Policy for the specific categories of data involved.

4. Your rights as a data subject

Under POPIA, you have the right to:

5. Data collected by our Customers

If your information has been stored by a business using TaskForge as their software (for example, as a client contact or staff member in their job card system), that business — not TaskForge — is the responsible party for your data under POPIA, and is who you should approach first to exercise the rights above.

6. Complaints

If you're not satisfied with our response to a request, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa):
